Kat has a passion for both hair and makeup. She loves to do all kinds of makeup, whether glam or natural. She enjoys doing makeup for special occasions, such as weddings or proms. Kat also specializing in custom colors. Whether it’s going darker than your current color or lighter and brighter, she is your girl. She has training from assisting Mary as well as the left brain group, behind the chair, & R & Co. Kat enjoys creating special looks curated for each client. When Kat isn’t working you can find her chilling at the lake or hanging out with family.

Amanda is a North Carolina native. She graduated from CCCC with an associates degree in Arts. Amanda’s favorite service is highlights, whether it’s on blondes, brunettes, or darker that’s her forté. Amanda wants you to leave the salon feeling fresh and renewed. Amanda can take your hair from feeling flat and lifeless to lively and dimensional. When not at the salon Amanda enjoys spending time with family and her dogs, Pip and Willow.

Mary is both the owner and a hairstylist here at Lavish Beauty Lounge. Mary had been doing hair in Chapel Hill for ten years before opening her own salon in 2018. After a couple of semesters as a nursing student, Mary discovered that hair was her true passion. Mary enjoys creating lived-in color using balayage, hair painting techniques, and gray blending. She is also certified in JZ styles extensions. She has had extensive continuing education, taking classes with Bumble and bumble, The Left Brain Group, Oribe, Whittemore House,V76, R+Co, JZ Styles, and L’Oréal. Mary has also been an educator within the salon. Mary also works with an assistant who is highly trained and she trust so there will more than likely be more than one person working on your hair. She loves to make every client feel special, whether it's their first visit or they have been coming to her years! Mary is also a mother to 2 children and 2 fur babies. When not in the salon you could find Mary shopping for the latest trends in fashion or makeup.

Kellie is a recent graduate from Paul Mitchell the School in Raleigh, she is a North Carolina native from Waynesville, right outside of Asheville. Kellie is currently assisting Mary as she furthers her skills and grows in the industry. Kellie has a love for blonding and is excited to treat you with a custom color. She is also certified in JZ Styles extensions. In Kellie’s free time she enjoys spending it with her family and friends, whether that’s going on a trip or just having a simple movie night in.

Taylor was born and raised in Raleigh, NC! Taylor graduated in 2022 from WTCC. Her passion for the beauty industry has been strong since a very young age and has continued to love and learn all things hair. She comes from a family of hair stylist. Taylor’s favorite services are blonding and extensions. Taylor is certified in JZ extensions and has also taken extensive training with Redken and Kerestase. Taylor has a love for all color services! Taylor enjoys the connection and ability to make her clients feel confident and beautiful about themselves! If Taylor is not in the salon you will most likely catch her spending time with her family, taking long walks on the beach or relaxing with her puppy, Tiger!

Cayden graduated from Aveda Chapel Hill and has a passion for all things color. Blonding services are her favorite. She is currently assisting Mary to further her career and elevate her skills. Cayden grew up in Rockingham NC but has made her way back to the triangle. Caydan has 3 siblings and is very close with her family. When Cayden is not at work you can find her binging TV with the family and 3 dogs Bev, Zola, and Mila.
